Today was the inaugural “Sunday Storm” on Pokerstars drawing 113770 players. I managed to make a deep run finishing in 164th place. For my final hand I moved all-in UTG with KQ offsuit. The table was playing really tight, and the BB would have had to call-in. The table had previously folded to any bet bet I made from early position with a bet size of 5xBB to all-in. Unfortunately I ran into KK, and was busted from the tournament.

I was really surprised that the BB called half his stack facing 2 all-in bets pre-flop. He had been playing very tight, and in this spot he should have known he was way behind, or a coin flip at best.

The hand I busted on was heads up against a reckless player. He gambled on just about every hand he played, and doubled up through me midway through the tournament (see bottom hand) by catching a lucky river card. I wouldn’t have played these hands differently, and most often it should be +EV.
